Riders Retreat is the ultimate motorcycle campground, and a favourite destination for all Motorcycle enthusiasts, from single riders to large groups. Our campground amenities include Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, flush toilets and unlimited hot showers, that include your towels and soaps. Being Motorcycle friendly, your firewood, and coffee and juice in the morning are all included in your stay. We also have horseshoe pits and bocce ball. Our accommodations are a 5-minute ride to downtown Nakusp, where you will find great local shops and restaurants along Broadway, an amazing view from the waterfront walkway, and a beautiful sandy beach.
The area in and around Nakusp is known as the Valley of the hot springs. Riders Retreat Motorcycle Campground is located 20 minutes from The Nakusp Hot springs, 25 minutes from Halcyon Hot springs and 1.5 hours from Ainsworth Hot Springs. Riders Retreat campground also backs directly onto the Nakusp Golf Course and a 45km trail, perfect for dirt biking, quadding, and good old fashioned walking. There are many surrounding trails that are motorcycle friendly for dual sport riders and the highways are highly recommended and sought out. Riders Retreat is the only accommodation in Nakusp that’s a destination. We are as much of an experience as the roads we are surrounded by.
